Come over to Lula Lounge and immerse yourself in Haitian culture! You will get to experience a traditional Vodou ceremony, a Veve demonstration, Haitian inspired hors d’oeuvres, a raffle with exciting prizes, and live music and entertainment with Jaffa and DJ Scar!
About the Musical Guests
Dieufaite Charles, formally known as Jaffa, is a lead singer, songwriter and guitarist. His music style reflects a mix of Haitian roots, and African rhythm which he calls “The African Soul”. Dieufaite’s music is moving and enchanting that causes you to dance, laugh, cry, and learn. He leaves you with a desire for not only more music, but also for a better understanding of this world.
Ram aka DJ SCAR is the Haitian community’s own DJ, promoter, and MC. He was born in Haiti and raised in Miami Florida. He considers himself an international DJ because of the diversity of his music collection and skill. He takes pride in his ability to satisfy various cultures’ unique taste in music.
